Everything the certificate requires, in one appointment.

Vision and color vision, hearing, vitals, urinalysis, and the physical are all done on site, along with the FAA-approved EKG when your class requires one. No second appointment, no referral across town.

The $210 fee covers the FAA medical examination itself for First, Second, or Third Class: the history review, vision and color vision testing, hearing, vitals, urinalysis, the physical examination, and issuance of your certificate where you qualify.

The $50 EKG add-on covers the FAA-approved electrocardiogram performed on site. First Class applicants need one at the first exam after age 35 and annually from age 40.

Do you bill insurance?+

FAA medical exams are generally not covered by health insurance. Payment is due at the time of the exam by cash, check, or credit card.

Is the EKG always required?+

Only for First Class applicants at the intervals the FAA sets. If it is not required for your exam, you are not charged for it.
